Call for Nominations for the Net Zero Collaboration Award

08 Oct 2024

Are you or have you recently been part of a successful collaboration that has driven Net Zero, sustainability, or circularity in our industry?

Apply for the BEAMA Net Zero Collaboration Award by the 31st October! New for 2024!

This award recognises outstanding collaboration between companies that successfully contribute to advancing Net Zero, sustainability, and circularity within our industry or broader market. The category is purposefully broad to encompass a wide range of collaborations aimed at reducing emissions and resource use. Examples of eligible projects include collaborations which:

  • Support aligned processes or practices.
  • Contribute to commercial or social projects / initiatives.
  • Drive product innovation or improvement.
  • Educate our sector, markets, or broader stakeholders.

There is no limit to the number of companies that can be part of a collaboration, but an application must include at least two companies, with at least one being a BEAMA member. Applications based solely on increases to a product’s operational / in use carbon emission savings will not be considered, however this could form part of an overall application.

There is no set application form to use if you are looking to submit a nomination, however there is a word count limit: 500-1000 words. We will also accept images and videos as part of a submission.

Applications close on the 31st October.

I would use a word document and structure your nomination under the following headers:

  • Name of nomination
  • Companies involved in the collaboration (highlight BEAMA members)
  • Summary of the collaboration (think duration / current status)
  • Collaboration actions and impact (relate back to the aim of the award)

As the collaboration between companies can take many forms, there is no hard and fast judging criteria, each entry will be judged on its own merits.

Applications close on the 31st October 2024. Please send your nominations to [email protected].

A shortlist will be selected by early November and nominees will need to be available to attend the BEAMA Annual Lunch on the 27th of November in London.
