Exhibition & Trade Support
We work with the Department for International Trade and British High Commission teams in post abroad to support our members on developing trade links. This is especially helpful for companies new to export as we can link them up with industry and sector specific delegations and visits for countries they may be interested to develop trade links with. We also help facilitate knowledge exchange with the Department for International Trade and key countries of interest for our sector, this could include sharing details of product rollouts in the UK and promoting new technologies being deployed in the UK with export potential. A dedicated part of the BEAMA members area of our website hosts all invitations and links to key sector work we continually support and contains key contacts for the Department for International Trade. Further information on how BEAMA and DIT can support your business can be found below.
Through DIT and nominated Accredited Trade Organisations (ATO), the Government offers extensive support to businesses wishing to exhibit and/or export to overseas markets. Particular emphasis is directed towards SME exporters with grants available at various levels depending on whether exhibiting in high growth markets and first timer status.
BEAMA (an ATO for the electrotechnical sector) can offer exhibitor grants for oversea shows. We also signpost to trusted freight forwarding service and offer bespoke advice on exhibition stand design and build. If you would like further information contact [email protected].
