Evaluation of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU

The Commision has published a roadmap for the evaluation of the LVD. The purpose of this evaluation is to assess if the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU2 is fit for purpose in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence, EU added value. On the basis of the conclusions on the performance of the Directive, the Commission will assess which next steps may be necessary to improve the performance of the Directive.
