Industry Round Table on the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Requirements for Water Heaters
Are you aware that European ErP regulations for Water Heaters and Hot Water Storage Tanks came into force in September 2015 and UK market surveillance is now under way?
Are you confused by the Regulations and their implications on your business?
Are you sure you have implemented the Regulations correctly?

Any company, manufacturer or importer supplying Water Heaters and Hot Water Storage Tanks in the UK has responsibilities under these European Regulations. However, experience shows that some aspects of this regulation can appear confusing and it may seem difficult to correctly implement.
BEAMA is a trade association representing the electric water heating industry and its members, along with those from the Hot Water Association, have undertaken the sometimes challenging journey through these regulations. To assist others to fully comply, we are holding a special round table event to share our learnings and provide expert advice. The event is open to any company or organisation; you don’t need to be a member of BEAMA or HWA and there will be no obligation to become one.
This informal event will take place at BEAMA offices, Westminster Tower, 3 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7SL on Tuesday 16th February, starting at 2pm. Please feel free to extend this invitation to any companies that you feel would be interested.
