Smart Readiness Indicator - Second Progress report

Please find below the 2nd progress report for the SRI. This is an advisory measure under the now published Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. BEAMA have commented on the proposed methodology in the past and still our key concerns still stand. This is over complicated and therefore we foresee few member states will adopt this. The methodology needs to be reviewed to consider an outputs driven approach to focus on availability of data, assisted living, machine learning, stroage capacity in buildings and future evolving technologies for smart homes. BEAMAs previous position on this therefore still stands and we are keen to engage with our EU associations and BEIS and CLG to refine this.
