EV Infrastructure Interoperability

The interoperability of EV Infrastructure between different vehicles, operators and energy providers is a key policy of the UK Government. BEAMA is working to ensure that this will be consistent and appropriate so that it creates a strong and competitive market for EV Infrastructure providers. A key aspect of this is focusing on how the EV Infrastructure interacts with other components within domestic and commercial buildings e.g. smart meters, heat pumps and energy management systems.

We are intent on ensuring that the electrification of road transport is consistent in a safe, flexible, reliable, efficient and low carbon energy system.
