EU heat and energy policies (including EPBD, EED, RED)
On the 30th November 2016 the Commission published the Clean Energy Package, titled, “Clean Energy for All Europeans”. The proposals are designed to show that the clean energy transition is the growth sector of the future. It includes a comprehensive package of amendments to existing EU Directive and regulations, covering Energy Efficiency, Renewable energy, the design of the electricity market, security or electricity supply and governance rules for the EU. In addition the Commission proposes a new way forward for ecodesign as well as a strategy for connected and automated mobility.
