ENERGY PERFORMANCE IN BUILDINGS DIRECTIVE (EPBD)

On The 30th November 2016, the European Commission published the Clean Energy Package, including proposals for changes to the Energy Performance in Building Directive (EPBD). This leaves the key objectives of the main features of the EPBD currently, but updates the content and removes redundant provisions. This includes binding obligations on electromobility for residential and non-residential infrastructure, a smart readiness indicator for buildings, and developments in requirements for Energy performance certificates.
