Join Race to Zero
We are supporting all of our members to sign up to the UN-backed Race to Zero, offering a science-based approach to decarbonisation.
Race to Zero is a global campaign to rally leadership and support from non-state actors - such as businesses - to take rigorous and immediate action to halve global emissions by 2030 and deliver a healthier, fairer zero carbon world.
All members are committed to the same overarching goal: Reducing emissions across all scopes swiftly and fairly in line with the Paris Agreement, with transparent action plans and robust near-term targets.

The Criteria
How to join
If you are an individual entity, such as a business, you are invited to join an initiative or network, which is an official Race to Zero partner.
BEAMA recommend two partners as options for our membership to join:
- >500 employees Business Ambition for 1.5°C - Science Based Targets
- <500 employees Home - SME Climate hub
